Well doug the PES DV is not purple!

Got it today, and it has been installed. Well, I think there was something definately wromg with my Forge. the piston did move today but not in a fluid motion, especially when compared to the PES DV.
The PES DV is well built w/a bras piston that is flat, not rounded at the end.
Perfomance, a little early to tell, just two short trips. Of the line acceleration was much smoother IMO, and it seemed to "breath" better than the old one.
Will be going on a trip to Philly tomorrow so I will really have a better feel for it then, but definately a difference for me.
Here are some Forge (taken apart!) and PES pics for you all to enjoy.
Sorry, I forgot how to post multiple pics in one post so please don't flame me about it :-)

One more thing....

Actually two, I have the PES in the same orientation as the Forge the pistons in both seem to function in the same direction so I stuck w/ the same set-up. And othe PES owners want to comment?
Also, these posts are not meant to flame or put down the Forge which is a great product. I just wanted to test out an alternative since mine seemed to give me some problem that others had not experienced.
Now, back to the pics!

Don't know if you TT guys have been following the Forge DV problems...
But there's been a number of problems with the valves sticking on S4s. Forge has just come up with a fix where they replace the nylon piston with an aluminum one. A couple of S4 guys have just received the new version and report no problems. It will apparently be a week or two before the shipment of new pistons arrives, but you should contact the company you bought your valve from to arrange an upgrade.
Forgive me if this is known information, but after reading RoberTTo's post, it seems as if you guys might not know about this.
