Well folks, no good news from the raceaholic.
First the good news. Time trials went great. 1st round left lane, ran a 14.45@94.2 with a .541 reaction time. 2nd round right lane, ran a 14.41@94.6 with a .550 reaction time. Tonight we actually had enough time to run a third time trial, but I was satisfied enough at this point that I didn't even use a third time run. As a side note, this tends to screw with the other competitors heads since they're still trying to figure their cars out. Also, the car was running pretty slow tonight due to a 8100 ft. correctd altitude.
Anyway, 1st round: I pulled into the staging lanes and pulled right up next to the points leader. Got onto the track, did our burnouts and both staged in. My last amber bulb lights up, clutch is dropped and my tires proceed to light up in smoke yet again. The race was over in the first 60 feet. My normal 1.98-2.02 60-foot time jumps to a 2.20 and that's the end of story. My final time was 14.73@93.8 on a 14.36 dial-in time and that's not nearly good enough to win in this class.
Real shame too, this could have turned out to be a great race. I had a .548 reaction and he had a .549. What a duel this could have turned out to be.
I could say there's always next week, but I'll be up in Seattle. Oh well, it was still an enjoyable night.
Jason Dale

Ah well, there IS always the week after next week...
and Happy Birthday! It sounds like a great time upcoming at Watkins Glen.
I'll be away to Balboa Island, California for the next couple of weeks, but the Bailey just arrived and I'm thinking hard about the MTM ECU and the EBC brake pads, so I'll catch up to you in mid-August. I'll follow the Forum from the i-book while I'm gone.
Yes friends, I'm lucky enough to have this guy just down the road and helping me with my TT! (I like my Audi dealership mechanic too, but there are areas they just can't go).

Thx for the wishes. And how 'bout that, another Apple person.
I couldn't live without my G4.
Give me a shout when you get back. Hopefully, by then, I won't be strangled anymore by wiring diagrams.
Jason Dale
