but it still sounds great. A new one is on order, can't figure how it broke, except maybe bottomed out on a speed bump. All aftermarket exhausts ride lower and my old one was no exception. Nice growl out of the Millteck btw. :-)

On another note, (pardon the pun) I do hope this maoderation thing gets settled out soon. ;-) Everyone needs sugar (OT) on their oatmeal (Tech)!

Default IMO, exhausts are part of the answer...

I already had a custom race exhaust on my car and was actually backing up a little to the Milltek. However, the quicker spool up on the turbo is a real HP gain by that old butt dyno. The OEM system has a serious constriction where the pipe goes under the rear (thank you Sean ;-) Haldex unit.

I used to race a 356 SCCA back in the late 60's/early 70's. A white 61 B coupe Super 90 ;-)

Thought you may enjoy this old image I had made in p-shop :-)

Default Did you get the resonated or non-res??? Correct me if I am wrong but the resonated has a >

little more of a "rice-burner" (no offense to those that have this) sound not the deep rumble of say a Porsche flat six....

I got the non-res I would think the res version is just more restrained, not high pitch.

Default Actually no....>>>

It is a coupe, the 1600N denotes the engine, which is a Normal. Kinda like your super 90. I think the car you are thinking of is the Karmann 356, it had a little more of a notchback coupe....I will email you a couple of pix of my car....
