Default Yup, and I cleaned out the garage and powerwashed it etc. A fresh start for the new car!

I finally took the time and cleaned out the garage, wanted to clear out old A4 stuff and start fresh! Powerwashed walls and ground etc, built a new shelf, and moved a few others around to create more side to side space.

Before:

Yanked a few things before first pic.

Note at this point I've already filled the tractor trailer with assorted trash, paint cans, etc that was cluttering up the floor space even more than what is pictured.

Everything sans car back to normal

TONS more room to work around the car, eliminated stuff I had stacked on the right side.

Take note of dent again.

I gained a foot of room because of car, and about 2 feet because of removing stuff I had stacked there..

Default A few pictures of wiring harness, rear of car torn apart etc from subwoofer amp installation.

Wiring harness that plugs into head unit (pulled to check which wires were which)

The same harness, but flipped to show other side

Harness that plugs into bose amp. Hmm looks like someone might have trapped front channels as there is electrical tape on them.

Here I tapped into "comm" ground (exterior wire of RCA), and the rear lines (interior wires of RCA cables) and the remote signal.

Default Well, the TT is faster (I'll say this while I'm on the TT forum :D)

But at least my TT is faster than my A4 on a racetrack since last year. Before that, my A4 was a hair quicker on 2 racetracks even if it was down 100hp and only 100lbs lighter.

Default I was going to ask about that. Mentioned in to my mechanic. Parts/labor on that?!

I am taking the car in on thursday to flush out the clutch system, we discussed Haldex but hadn't settled on yes or no (he said recommended interval is 20-30k, but many don't do it and he's never personally seen issues arise.) I will most likely add this to the list.

Default Interesting, the TT should be quicker than my FXK04 A4 was once chipped right?! On paper it looks

like it, more hp, a touch less weight (right?!) and an extra gear..

My goal wasn't necessarily too much more power, or I probably would have continued my hunt for S4s. I'm hoping that chip, intake, maybe DP/test pipe will make this car fast enough to keep me happy..

Default Yeah I need to clean up my install and get a smaller box. IIRC mine is well over 1cu ft.

My huge box will only fit under the window area, I currently have the sub firing into the rear seats.

Those are what, 2 - 10"ers? I'd like to keep the single 12", just use it in a box better suited for the space.. I would like to have it at the way back of the trunk too, as I'd like to keep my privacy shelf out if possible (rattles like ****), while making the sub less/not visible from outside. The windows are dark but still, I've had my car broken into twice in the past 10 months and I'd rather avoid any chances...

Quick Reply: Well I sold my A4, and picked up an 01 225. So far I am very happy!
