Went to dealer to battle overheat issue and mentioned DV problem... he told me that its NOT...
a problem and that it is only an "inconvenience" and that Audi will "eventually"
fix it. Since it really hasn't manifested itself in my car I couldn't take it
any further but to ask him if $36,000+ cars were supposed to have minor
anoyances and inconveniences to which he shruged and smiled.
Oh well.... so much for correct information.
2000 Audi TT 180hp Coupé (Blue)

Hmmmm ... Catastrophic turbo damage sounds like more than a just minor inconvenience to me.

Unfortunately, Audi is very secretive w/ their engineering ..so much in fact that Audi dealers ..
are told the "how to's" but never ever the "why?"
Audi mechanics "paint by number" so to speak ...
AZAZEL
"Time is on my side"
