Default You're having one made?? Why?!
Try the ECS valve...that's one that is not talked about much on here, but might be a good alternative to some of the others...

Not a BOV, a dump valve, tie-in at the intercooler hose.

they sell something called the N75 race valve or something...

N75 is a different thing from a DV. N75 controls the wastegate

I do know a man that makes them in europe, he just needs to know what psi to have it dump and I am clueless. My boost gauge won't go in until I finish my stereo, which will be weeks. I wanted to have this ordered so I cna do everything while it's down. Thanks for any info you have - I appreciate it!

Default nobody is trying to confuse you . . .
The DV is a Diverter Valve, Audi calls it air recirculation valve. Some people are getting dump valves which vent to the atmosphere to replace the DV.

N75 is what controls the wastegate operation.

What else is confusing you?
