what to do about front brake pad dust on wheels???

Default Same pad supplier for VW/Audi, MB, Volvo, BMW and a few more...reason for pad compound is...

Euro reg that requires a certain brake performance off the assembly line...no brake break in allowed...must be 100% and thus this compound used in the pads...all the after market pads (EBC, Mintex, Pagid etc) require a 'bed in' period and this is a no-no with the Euro reg. BUT one would think someone could figure a low dust pad to comform to the reg.

That certainly explains the rationale behind the current OEM brake pads. I appreciate the explanation. There is so much to know, and so little time.

Default Didn't notice any loss when cold

but they certainly are much much cleaner and they feel pretty good so far Very quick stoppping from, umm, post 2 digit speeds ...
