WHAT THE **** IS UP WITH THIS ECONOMY????
Sorry for shouting.
Its been about a year and a half since I've had a decent consulting job. Finally, I got a breath of fresh air this month when I found 30 days of Web/UI design work out of town... the client agreed to my full rate, plus travel expenses. Whoopie!
Um... not so fast.
Today, the recruiter calls me to tell me that the client is being aquired by another company... and that the new parent company has had an Enron-esque accounting scandal... and has put all expenses on hold due to their budget shortfalls. Translation... no contract for evan.
Anyone here know a good bankruptcy lawyer?

Dude dont go
bankrupt...tell your creditors to shove it till you can pay...transfer all your assets into other trustworthy peoples names... dont go bust...change your phone number and wait it out till it gets better...it always does..good luck dude.
