What is the length of an OEM wheel bolt? Went to discount tire to pick...>>>
up some wheel bolts for SSR competitions and they gave me wheel bolts that measured 20mm from 1st thread to end of bolt. Is this the correct length? Seems like I can go a little longer. The tech said that I don't want it too long or else it will hit the rotors.

measuring that way you might be ok; usually you measure from the seat of the bolt >

Well, measuring from the seat of the bolt only gives me another 2mm...>>>
so about 22mm total. Do you think this is still safe and ok to use or should I go back and return for longer bolts?

It also depends on the thickness of the wheel. SSR could probably tell you.
I also think I remember something about the number of threads required to provide the proper friction & clamping force. I want to say 7. & looking @ GorTT's pic, that looks about right.
