Default What was my winter project? Please, no spoiler inside > > >

I've owned my TT for almost 6 years now and finally decided to have the spoiler removed. (I had this done in early February, today was the first day worth getting out and taking some pictures - more at the link below.) The shop did a wonderful job:

There are two pins each side of the spoiler, one held with a nut, one that needs to be cut. Plus the gooey stuff needs to be removed to remove the spoiler.

I'm very happy with it. Of course, I 've slobbered over all the other spoiler-less TT's here!

Default a much cleaner and pure look, I like it.

but what if I am going 130 on a twisty road, i will go out of control!!! Ha. does anyone really believe that?

Default Apparently, the Audi engineers

measured the down force with and without a spoiler, and someone posted this image - I have no idea what it means, but I don't plan on going 130 any time soon.

Default That just looks like it's showing how adding the small spoiler...

added downforce in the back, while taking a bit off the front, therefor evening the balance out under braking. I'm sure the last spoiler gave them problems with the front end being squirrily at speed...at least that's what it looks like.
