Only buy metallic tint. Better heat, fade, wear resistance, and also better looking.

Default I don't think it's better looking actually

I find it takes away from the lines of the car. On my car (silver/ebony) there is no shiny black surface - every thing that is black has a matte finish, so continuing that theme would mean no dark reflective tint, but rather a nice smoked look.

As far as heat, fade, and wear resistance, I went to a well respected shop that provides a lifetime warranty on parts and labor, so if I have a problem of any kind (other than me scratching it) its taken care of.
