What is your TT obsession story????.....
Stontt brought up the idea of posting TT obssession stories...I do weird things when it comes to my TT and I wonder if I'm alone in this.
I'm as **** as it get with it comes to my TT I have a set of rules that I breakdown to any potential passenger.
They must go through a rigid inspection before entering the TT premises
Rules:
NO FOOD! Absolutely none (not even chewing gum)
NO stinkin perfume smell...will ruin my new car smell
I keep a nice new car smell deodorant in the car just in case.
NO sand from the beach on shoes, mud or dirt
NO touching instrument panels (fingerprints on aluminum is not pretty)
TT daily care:
TT gets washed whenever there's a spec of dirt on it (every other day)
California dusted daily
When it rains I take cover if I can
Must park all the way in the back of any parking lot where there a lot of empty spaces (I'll walk a mile if I have to just to avoid dings, fingerprints on windows for peeping TToms)
Sometimes I take up two spots just to avoid any dilemma (that's pretty drastic but I can't help it)
If someone comes near the car and is about to touch the car while the top is down I active the panic alarm from a distance (I can do this being 10-15 feet)away
I actually had someone walk up to the car, while I was in a restaurant (outdoor patio) , and stick their head inside my car and touch the car. Aaaarrgh!
Yep, sounds pretty extreme eh?
What's your story? C'mon I know some of you do whacky things too when it comes to you car. Out with it ! ;-)

I just drive it...Every chance I get. :)
But yeah...No food or drinks are consumed in the vehicle. I've broken down and allowed my fiancee to drink bottled water, but that's it. She ate a french fry once when we picked up some drive-through McD's...I still give her a hard time about that.

Visiting my sister in downtown S.F.....
No parking spaces to be found for blocks. she convinces me that parking it on the sidewalk would be O.K. I stayed up all night standing at the window looking down at my car. Nobody's touching my freakin car on my watch!!

Guess I'm not obsessed by your email
I just spend hours on this site daily - in between emails and work and during evening relaxation.
Oh - and I buy stuff. A lot of it. Too much of it. For the TT.

I'm pretty laid back about it, compared to some of you...though I'm bad
enough that my freinds think I'm nuts... They'd think you guys are certifiable.
I'm good for a 2-3hour detail once a week, every other week tops. It looks nice, It won't win the Concours, but oh well....
I have a few pet peeves though...
1) NO SMOKING!
2) I hate it when someone gets a shoe mark on the glove compartment.
3) I hate it when they put their WHOLE hand on the door to close it. I just use 1 or 2 fingers where the window and door meet...To reduce fingerprints of course.
4) Slamming the door...Everyone I know, thinks they have to SLAM the door to close it. Makes me crazy.
5) Don't mess with my radio stations!! GRRR
