What's a safe product to use to get rid of sticky residue on dash?

What's a safe product to use to get rid of sticky residue on dash?
By law dealers are required to leave that child seat warning card on dash until keys are handed to the buyer. After pulling it off slowly there is still some goo residue on dash. Are products such as Goo Gone and Goof Off safe for the dash?
