Default What's taking so @$#@ing long?!!

I have been told my 2002 Coupe (225/Moro Blue/Aviator Gray) arrived in Delaware 10/8/01, but it hasn't arrived as of 10/18 (Portland, OR). It sounds like it hasn't even started out here yet. Anybody deal with this before? How long did it take for you to get the car once it arrived in the U.S.? This is killing me!

Default LOL! Delivery date codes used to be such a hot topic here about a year ago. It's

amazing how long it's been since I've read a post like yours.

Listen, as long as it gets to you with nothing having occurred en route, be patient, and the day you get it all the time you spent agonizing over the wait will vanish in an instant.

BTW, sounds like a great color combo, please post pics as soon as you get it.

Default I got lucky and the dealer found one local for me, but....

I almost had to order one and I think they said 15 days once it arrives in port. I can not remember the exact number, but it is in that ballpark....

Default It takes a minimum of two weeks for a car to make it from port to your dealer.

I'm sure there are exceptions, but remember that it has to make it through customs and then has to be scheduled onto a truck. Most trucks are not headed for a single dealer but make a round trip to several dealers to drop off one or two cars. I know what you're going through and I can certainly sympathize. Hang tough. Heck, before you know it, you will have owned the car for a year!!

Sure thing. I'll try to post pictures, too. You're obviously in the Portland area -- drop me a line some time and we can cruise downtown with all the 18 year olds (hahaha).
