Default point me in a direction -- i can't go too crazy

those dpe's were probably a little too rich for my car.

Default e.g., that dpe you posted up should be available in both a reverse-lip and a stepped lip.

you posted the reverse-lip one, hence my warning. but the stepped lip should be fine.

Default I like the DPE's sonus has on his TT

they would look great on your car, in the same dark center and polished lip of course.

Default but there's a rubber thing you can get to keep the 'unbalance' issue

from happening in the rain. I believe it attaches to the valve stem and prevents the water from pooling on the inside.

unrelated: did you happen to see my email awhile back about your seats, or did it get snagged by a spam filter?

Default yeah i've seen that; not sure how well it works but it seems an interesting solution

if it works well, i'm confused why it's not included by the manufacturers of reverse-lip wheels.

didn't see the emails about the seats but my home email has become a bit of a spam trap. please resend if you get a chance.

Default

Very true. Same as some of the Kinesis (R.I.P.) wheels did.

Default They were purchased by Lexani, which now makes their wheels "questionable" IMHO. They did make

some of the most gorgeous, high quality stuff on the market, but there's been a lot of speculation about what will happen now that Lexani has taken over. I've ordered 3 sets, all custom, for one of my buddies cars. These were all "pre-Lexani" wheels. The quality was absolutely spectacular. The only problem at all was wet balance as you mentioned on a set that had 19" centers on 18" outers. But they were great during the summer!
