Default Wheel hop and torque steer on a 225?

I've spent pretty much the whole summer with this condition. If I turn ESP off and launch hard from a stop, I will experience significant wheel hop and chatter from the front end. When cruising, if I accelerate hard, there's quite a bit of torque steer.

I've put 56k miles on the car over the last two years and this condition has only been present for the past few months.

I've had it to the dealer twice now and both times told this is normal. The dealer did confirm my complaint. I'm getting no lights or codes and this seems to be what they are basing their conclusion on. The service advisor said they looked over the car for about and hour and a half and found nothing wrong with suspension, etc. (although I doubt a tech would take that much time)

Any suggestions on what this could be? Anyone else experience something like this? Archive search only shows these issues on FWD cars.

I will be taking this to a different dealer and hopefully get it resolved.

Search for Haldex tests that Steve has posted, possibly in the FAQ.

Default That's the problem.....It usually is a bad controller

Everything should hook up virtually immediately. Torque steer and Front wheel spin indicates the haldex is not engaging..

You really should be seeing a error using the VAG too.

Default It sounds like you're just testing the limits of your stock suspension/drivetrain

Not that many people are going to turn off their ESP and "launch hard" with their car.

Have you upgraded any of your front suspension? Do you still have the stock dogbone and flex bushings?<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=225HP&amp;mo del=TT&amp;submodel=Quattro&amp;category=Drivetrai n&amp;subcategory=Mounts">here?</a></li></ul>
