Is this the traction control kicking in or something? I'd like to use this technique on the track sometime to help keep boost up. But if the car is going to drop out on me, it wouldn't be safe especially if somebody is behind me.

Default More than likely yes, it is ESP >>>

kicking in. Remember, it is drive by wire technology, so engaging the brake at the same time you have throttle input could confuse the software.

If it does this with ESP off as well, there is more than likely no fix....

Another good reason i enjoy NO ESP in my car! ;-)

I just read on the Vortex that if the brake is held down for more than 5 secs it cuts throttle.

true, and any longer on the gas and you're not left foot braking properly

I always keep ESP off unless it's snowing outside, or through wet windy roads.

Default does the ESP cut the throttle or the base computer program itself?

and do you have a link to this thread on Vortex?

Default I don't know if its a technique worth practicing for autox, at least not to keep up the boost.

Its not a rally car ;-)
