When I left foot brake while holding a bit of throttle, why does the car kill the throttle sometimes
Is this the traction control kicking in or something? I'd like to use this technique on the track sometime to help keep boost up. But if the car is going to drop out on me, it wouldn't be safe especially if somebody is behind me.

More than likely yes, it is ESP >>>
kicking in. Remember, it is drive by wire technology, so engaging the brake at the same time you have throttle input could confuse the software.
If it does this with ESP off as well, there is more than likely no fix....
