Where exactly is the coolant temp sensor in a 3.2L engine bay?
I tried looking for it this morning but couldn't find it. It was kinda dark in my garage and I only gave it a quick once-over since I had to be off to work. I saw something that looked like it could be it near the back of the engine bay by the firewall on the passenger side. It was laid out vertically with the harness on top and what looked like a "black" sensor below it. But I didn't see a C-clip holding it in and it didn't seem anywhere near a coolant hose so I didn't think that was it.

it's by the manifold vacuum switch thing
Look where the vacuum thing is that switches the intake manifold. I changed mine to green sensor and it was total pain. I remember having to move aside a couple hoses, and removing the intake manifold vacuum thing. Getting the clip on was the hard part. Good luck.

Ok
OK, look at oil cap. A few inches below that is vacuum thing for manifold. Also the fuel pressure reg is there....Right below the FPR is the connector for the coolant sensor. It's against the engine. Take off the battery shield to get better view.
It's hard to get at unless you got small hands.
