The warranty on my 2002 TT is getting close to its end (43K miles out of 50K) and I would like to get an extended warranty as recommended in another thread (https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1110628.phtml)

Any recommendation where to get the warranty ? What should I look for ? How much should I expect to pay (live in Northern California) ?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

even a busted timing belt and any damage incurred. It was about $2400 when I bought it. They even let me pay it out over 12 months. Definitely worth the peace of mind!!!

Already have $900 worth of repairs covered.
If you decide to use make sure you take to an Audi shop that charges decent labor hours.
They will not pay the make. My stealership charges $90/hour and warranty was only willing to cover $65. They base what they pay on a national average. In other words, you would be responsible for the difference.

Stealership labor charge is outrageous!~

i went with warranty direct in May because they were one of the few that can sell in CA. for me the Audi was over priced but it did offer 100K ( total 7 years from car manufactured) but i drive about 5K a year so i choose a lower milage and 5 years from date of purchase ( warranty not car manufactured) for 1/2 the price of the audi plus warranty direct covers more ...
