Default Where's the best place to purchase 3.2 bumper??

Dealers want an arm and a leg. Since I can't put a kidney on eBay anymore, I need another source. Recommendations anyone? TIA

I've only seen rear bumpers on eBay lately... bummer for me.

Default Really the only option other than the arm n leg

And unfortunately most the people selling them on Ebay these days are in the know and set their prices accordingly. Just 6 months ago my dealer wanted $1200, now I hear the skin is over $1400. At the time I bought mine off Ebay for $750 a lot of people thought that price was nuts and I pretty much agreed. But I was able to sell the 3 bar grille and lower grilles and recoup about $150 so for me it was a good deal. Thena few weeks later I think I saw one go for under $500 but it was mislabeled or there was a typo in the title or something.

Basically since it's an OEM part you're pretty well screwed. We all know it takes 3 times the material and R&D to create a 3.2 bumper over the standard one to justify the cost. LOL

Also remember shipping isn't cheap or easy if you find one used. Finding a box to fit it in and then a carrier to deliver it proved to be a huge challenge. I ended up taking a risk along with the seller and it was shipped wrapped in bubblewrap but not in a box. Luckily it worked for us.

Default Guess I should lube up before I grab my ankles at the stealership :-)

The TT shop in UK has a good price, but I can't imagine it would be cost effective to ship it over.. guess I am screwed unless I can find someone getting rid of a bumper or from a salvaged 3.2 TT with no front end damage (highly unlikely IMO)

Default Maybe WorldImpex can beat the stealers price? Probably not with shipping, though. Have a part

number?

Default $985. Certainly can't be $500 shipping, right?! Should beat the stealer.
