Default Why am I here?

The last couple of pages worth of threads represent why I consider this forum my Virtual Family. Unparalleled technical knowledge, unbiased (well, mostly) opinions, camaraderie, and wonderfully creative humour. Ain't nuttin' like it anywhere else on the net. An' I been all over the net since I was a baby bitflipper!

Thanks everyone, I think I'm going to cry now....

Default If I wasn't (still) dying, I would say something nice, but given my current state, can't be bothered

and any nicety, token or otherwise, might diminish my high standing as a Founding Member of The Young Curmudgeons... >:-(

(insert gratuitous cough, hack, cough)

J/K - I feel the same.

Default I refuse to believe it is a mere case of salmonella - how common! I think it is something

far more fantastic, and utterly incurable. I mean for gawd's sake's the only people who die of salmonella eat mayo-based potato salads that've been sitting in the sun for eight hours, or so... AND that's merely survival of the fittest at play, really... I will solicit medical advice and inform you of my on-going demise at appropriate intervals.

I thank you for your kind wishes with my speedy (death) er recovery... ;-)
