Why keep tire diameter the same???
When people get larger rims, they attempt to get tire that keep the overall diameter as close to stock as possle ... why?
possible reasons?: keep distance traveled per rotation equal to stock, rubbing of front tires while turning, ????
I'm sure there is a reason out there, but I'd like the wheelwell opening filled more.
Thanks

driveline bind..
If you change the rotating diameters of the front and rear wheels anymore than 3% you will bind up the internal gear of the haldex unit...now wider tires retaining similar rotational diameters can be used.
