Default will this make much of a difference??

if i switch to 225/40/18 instead of the 225/35/18s i have on there now? I am finding there are plenty more tire choices in the 40 series than the 35s... i have 255/40/18s on the rear. What would you suggest for a good match for these cars tires wise??

http://www26.allpussy.net/</a

Default don't you need to run the same overall diameter F + R? even though our cars aren't AWD all the

time, you don't want to chance messing up the diffs when their is power going to the rear wheels.

Default It just has to be close enough (I forget the published value that Haldex specs)

With Haldex diffs its more a matter of keeping the rolling diameters the same so that the computer doesn't think a wheel is slipping due to differences in speed.

Default yeah. but he's running 225/40/18 in front and 255/40/18 in the rear, that's a 1.1" difference...

pretty damn big. if he ran 255/35/18 in the rear, he could get away with it (both 25", using the potenza S-03 as a guideline).
