Window problem. HELP!!!

Whenever I open or close the car door on the passenger side the window cracks down and up. I know that this is ok. But on the driver side window it doesn't do this. It also doesn't do the one touch up and one touch down. The window still does come down and up but I have to hold the button. Please can anyone tell me what this is caused by.

After the window is up, hold the up button for 5 seconds and this resets the window. I have had to do this when my windows get out of synch. with my power top. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
