Drivers window

My window stopped doing it's little drop when opening the door. F*king great!! I thought. Another f*king problem. After fitting my newly repaired dash, I had a bit of a play with the window, kinda sorta remembering the sequence for resetting auto up windows.
Put the window all the way down, wait 2 seconds then push the button down again. Release and put the window all the way up, wait two seconds and push the button up again. Window now works normally.

Thanks CRU57Y for your reply. Unfortunately, I tried this three times with my window and it still doesn't drop down. I am assuming there i a problem that a reset does not fix.
