Window Problems
I just picked up a black 2000TTQ with mK1 ,and have a clicking sound from the passanger window, does not move at all. How much to replace the motor when it is out of warranty? The car was up on warranty in December and has 44k, any chance of them gifting it? Anything I should try doing on my own besides a re-set?

You may be able to do it yourself...
Removing the door panel is the hardest part. The motors just bolt/unbolt. No idea what a dealer would charge - it should be possible to do in 1 hour, they'd probably charge for 2.
It's possible your problem isn't the motor itself, it could also be the regulator and cable which actually moves the window. That's much more involved.

I've had problems with one of my windows, the motor was changed out during the warranty period... I think they may have a fleet quality problem here and they should step up and cover. I hope you get it done for free.
