Default Winter 08-09 has taken its toll on our cars, what repairs have you suffered this winter?

I thought one winter with a car that had never seen winter before couldn't be THAT bad... Turns out i was dead wrong.

1) I was backed into, new rear bumper respray
2) chunk of ice took out my oil pan
3) i was rearended by a professor at my school, i'll be getting another respray for that.
4) turbo whine fixed (going in on friday)

ive noticed that a lot of the regulars here have had bad luck this winter. Whose with me? I can list three off the top of my head. (karlis, randy, debashis)

Default that is coming on friday, also gonna have jason look at a couple other things

might as well spend a lot while i'm already spending a lot..

for some reason the engine is shaking/vibrating more than normal (i know i got the dogbone insert, it's going beyond what's normal for the stiffer insert). It seems to go away when the cars oil temp comes up, but when the coolant just gets to temp, it can be felt from 2500-4000 and the overrun amplifies the problem. I'm going to have him to a boost leak test to narrow that possibility. I'm also considering MAF and coil packs as the culprit, albeit if those had failed; they'd have thrown a code or something by now (no codes aside from air bag)...

Jason's the best diagnoser i've met in my travels; he REALLY knows what he is talking about and i'm not shy about giving him his diagnosis quote per hour.

it'll be nice to come back from a warm weekend in california to a fresh turbo and a smoother running engine.
