Default woohoo! got my first tool. what's next?

the bentley manual is a lot bigger than i expected. lol. i'm trying to jump into learning about my car by doing the 40k service.

assuming i have only the basic tools, what should i get next?

jack stands and jack or ramps?
haldex tools?
torque wrench?

Default jack stands: $18.00 at Sears, oil wrech, filter puller and 17mm deep socket with breaker bar, and

torque wrench to retighten wheels after totating..and floor hydro jack

so a post awhile ago. any recommendations on jacks? looking at sears.com now...

Default the low cost ones are good for 1500 lbs each...cars weight in at about 3k

so they'll work fine. And they are plenty low for our cars.

Default you need to find a set of 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" metric , with extensions and >

u-joints; a large torque wrench first for the wheels, then a small one, and preferably long sockets for the 1/2" set, short for the 1/4" and both long and short for the 3/8". Also get 1/4 - 3/8 and 3/8 - 1/2 adapters so you can use them interchageably.
