Default Worrying Oil Problem.,.,.,

Hi Guys.....

The oil pressure warning light on my mk1 TT has started flashing on and off yet when I checked the oil level it was at the correct level....have not driven the car since for obvious reasons... any ideas what it could be...??. I'm assuming its going to be a complicated and expensive fix.....

:-(

i had and still have this issue, replaced the coolant sensor, idk why but this is slightly tied in, that worked for a day, but also made my car stop cutting the gas at wop (a turbo saftey feature) this let my engine blow off a main bearing bolt that was then sitting in my oil pan, loose bearing means low oil pressure, put studs in to replace the bolts, cleaned everything out, no real sludge as i frequently change oil, but still have the light, apparently audi put out a bulletine i read that said its turbos have issues with leaking, commonly at the return line at the turbo, so i think that could be my issue, 5 dollar gasket, could solve your issue, just hard to get to.
