xenon headlight change
I tried to change the xenon bulb in my 2000 tt and for some reason the bulb is loose in the housing after the retainer ring is twisted into place did they give me the wrong bulb ? Was a spacer supposed to go in with the bulb ? do you need to replace the retainer ring when you change the bulb ? i ended up twisting the bulb and ruining it trying to get the plug back on I don't want to waste the money on another bulb if I'm just going to break it again. Also is it easier to take the whole front bumper off the car to replace the bulb it took me forever to get the bulb in ?

Well for sure it can be a pain. You cant see!! However , there isn't any extra parts, like a washer needed. Should go in and lock down.
Also, you saw the bulb that came out right?

thats the one I bought I ended up taking the whole thing out i replaced the HID and am now replacing all the other bulbs with LED so I never have to worry about them again

i did not replace the xenon with led just all the other bulbs and if you do replace any of the bulbs with led you will have to use a resistor so you don't get a bulb out warning
