XM roady install.

XM roady install.
i got a roady XM tuner yesterday. after trying
about 5 different places to mount the damn thing, i came up with the following, and it appears to be surprisingly clean.
here is where i have it mounted currently.
i took the insert out of the ash tray, which gives
more room for mounting.

and here is where i mounted the antenna. thankfully it's extremely small.

i'm thinking that tonight i'm going to try and remove the entire tray assembly, and see if the supplied mounting brackets will hold the device somewhere down there, so i can still access the compartment underneath.

Yep, I put mine in the same place, but I have a roadster so . . .
I've got the antennae on the dash, up against the windshield. Reception is OK. The biggest problem I have is with the FM. There are areas of town where I can't get a clear station. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to get the Bipes adapter so I don't have to worry about a clear FM station.
