Default You know you have issues when...

you can't resist detailing a car that isn't even your own.

Took my car in for service last night. The dealership I get service done at now told me from the beginning that since I hadn't bought my car with them, they would be giving me an enterprise rental for a loaner (at their cost), as they save their Audi loaners for customers who bought their car there.

Last night, the Enterprise agent said they were out of cars. So, my service guy goes and gets me a beautiful 2001 black A4 (it was even a 5-speed manual! excellent!). I got the thing home, parked it, and thought, "Man, that thing has a lot of water spots.. those tires look dull too, and look at how dirty those wheels are..."

I couldn't resist. Spend 45 minutes detailing it. I'm sure it was just because it was a nice looking Audi (I've never done it on any of the enterprise rentals I've gotten), but still, there's a fine line between "nutcase" and "enthusiast"..

Default Your lucky... I bought my TT at the dealership where I get it serviced at and all they have is

Ford Contours and enterprise rentals. Are Audi dealerships *supposed* to use Audi loaners? This was very dissapointing to me.
