Default Zerk fittings for sway bar

Several weeks ago I helped a friend install the an ABD Racing hollow sway bar on his VW. I suggested that we might add a set of zerks to the bushings.

Using a 6mmx1 drill and tap set I drilled and tapped each bushings metal carrier for a 6mmx1 zerk. Futher, I continued the 6mm hole all the way through the bushing. Using a small round #192 dremel cutter I cut a (3/16")5mm round groove on the inside of the bushing to provide a greaseway.

This is going to be my next mod on my TT. I plan on using the small grease gun with Si grease that is available as Si marine grease.

http://www.widgetsupply.com/page/WS/CTGY/dremel-burr-cutter-hss-round</a

is this mod applicable to the non hollow sway bars? sorry, I really dont understand what you did here, but I am interested, it gets tiresome dropping the bar everytime that squeaks begin.
