Default 2011 Audi TT Incorrect Oil Fill

Hello All,

I purchased a 2011 TT with a little over 35K on it from an infinity dealer. Car was immaculate and had its 35K service done by previous owner already.
My question for the knowledge here is when I purchased the car, I asked if they serviced the oil and they said they had and I foolishly did not ask with what spec oil. I just took it in after 2500 miles to have the oil changed (employer payed for service contract for 5K changesfor 3yrs) as the first change was scheduled for 3K. I did the "it requires VW502.00 blah blah, just checking because... Infinity yadda yadda," and he said, "oh we put semi synthetic 5W-30 in it when we acquired it."
I didn't punch him in the mouth but... it flashed across my mind.
What i did is put 4oz of seafoam in the cranckcase, ran it for 50 miles and then had them put correct oil in.

For those that have the time to share their knowledge, is 2500 miles with the semi synthetic going to become a liability? I know this has many variables but thought I might get some peace of mind.

Regards

You're handling this correctly, don't worry about it. If you're actually that worried, change the oil a second time in another 1000-2000 miles.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I am not super worried about it. I have warranty and made them give me the service record that labelled them installing 5W-30. So it could have been dino and not semi synthetic, who knows.

I always do my own oil changes and have for my entire driving history. The funny thing is, when I bought the car they offered 5K services with tire rotation for $340.00 for 36K miles, I did the math in my head and couldn't see doing it myself for much cheaper. I could hear them in the back office talking about eating s#!& on the contract haha.
