Default So far, so good with the TTS

I bought a set of Dunlop Wintersport 3D's to put on the 18" wheels that it came with. So far I have had great traction in the snow and on ice. Encountered some sheer ice highway conditions this weekend and came out unscathed. (The others who ended up in the ditch didn't have quattro!)

Ride height seems to be fine so far as well. We haven't had a major blizzard yet in these parts of the Canadian prairies, but my 03 TT did just fine last winter.

I will say though, the TTS hasn't exactly loved the -30ºC/-22ºF (-46ºC/-50ºF with the wind chill) today. TPMS is being thrown off by the cold affecting the air pressure. I may just use VCDS (VAG-COM) to disable it over the winter.

I also had dash lights for the adaptive lights and the suspension light up on the dash today. After driving for a bit they turned off. The car is going in on Tuesday to have a door panel replaced so I will make mention of it then. Might check for codes tonight too.

Nice to hear about your traction but what's up with the door panel?

Default AND the passenger side. Just not as badly. Passenger door panel is on order too.

He did it on my 3.2 as well but I didn't realize what it was until I saw it on this car. It's just a flat, shiny, texture-less spot along the top where there should be texture consistent with the rest of the door panel.

Default no problems last winter

my 3.2Q did well last winter, We didn't have any snow high enough in Boston to stop the car though the resulting gridlock did one afternoon. I had the pirelli zero nero all seasons which slid a bit on breaking so put snow tires on this year. No snow yet but no reason to believe there will be major problems.

Haldex will perform well ... Mostly will depend on your tires.
