That same marketing department says 2.0T 0-60 is over half a second slower than the 3.2.
I'm willing to bet independant tests will show the same results too.

I said "My TT" which is chipped. Even so, the 3.2 is sluggish...
First, I think you have me confused with regard to the TT vs V8... Keep you facts straight.
Back to topic. The 3.2 has a "on paper" 50HP advantage, but it's a lot heavier with the AWD and 3.2 motor. It's also more difficult to get a good launch with AWD. The 3.2, with more weight on the nose, plows more.
Also, given that people are finding that the current 2.0T is coming from Audi with closer to 220HP, it makes the two even performance wise.
That said, the 2.0T just feels more nimble. You don't need to believe me since the majority of professional publications have also said the 2.0T is better around the track. Maybe STaSIS will comment on their kick-*** 2.0T?

We're talking off the line, not in corners.
And for someone who has driven quattro cars for years, a good launch is no big deal. If you don't know how to launch a quattro car, yes, it can feel like it bogs the launch. Truth of the matter is a properly launched 3.2 should beat a FWD 2.0T off the line.

Correct....and he is using to Launch Control from STronic on his 2.oT...
hence the reason he might feel that way. But I have no doubt that the 3.2 even in 6MT form will beat a 2.oT off the line, to 60, 1/4 mile etc...
Drive the 3.2 in STronic and launch that car...and its even a bigger diffrence then the 2.oT.
Yes the 3.2 weighs more, but it can also grip the road on launch and not just spin the front wheels like a FWD car will.

Good idea, we can measure penises before and after driving the 2.0T
Since he thinks the 3.2 is a ***** size compensation car. If the 2.0T adds 2", I'll concede the 2.0T is far superior to the 3.2, stock for stock.
