Default is this a good lease offer?

audi 3.2 TT Quattro
alcantara
bixenon
ipod
bluetooth
18" 10 spoke rims
6MT

MSRP: 44575
Offered Sale Price: 43000

Lease:
No money down.
2205 for fees
730.88/mo x 36 months

this comes to total of 26,311
depreciation = 21,396

difference= 26,311-21,396 = 4915
subtract tax from the difference: 4915-1315= 3599

So the dealer makes 3599 off this lease. they tell me invoice is 41K so if i bought the car, they would profit 2000. by leasing they make 1599 more over the 3 years.

is this a good deal?

Default I would say no - I visited the stealer last night to price up an order

Priced out an order on a loaded 2.0T S-Line - everything but nav. Dealer offered me $500 over invoice, lease came out to $580/mo + tax with around 1K due at signing - 1st month, fees and zero down. 36 mo 15K/yr

Also they told me they can lock in the lease MF and residual for an order up to a certain % so you are protected against the rate going up - I think my MF was .00109 and they would lock it in up to 0.00200 - haven't heard of that before...not sure if it's an Audi thing or just what my dealer offers.

Think I'm going to take the plunge and order today - sounds like as good a deal as I'm going to get..

I think you can get a better deal on the base price than 2K over invoice.

Default #1, Cap cost is too high. #2, Get the money factor and residual being used.

Anything short of a 5% discount ($42,346 in your case) is not a good deal.

You're not mentioning miles, so I can't give you lease numbers. Get the money factor and residual they're using and post again.

Default no it's not. Walk immediately...

I was able to get just ~$400 over invoice. Negotiate til they come down significantly, if not, walk out their door into another dealerships.
