Default My question is, what would make you buy the TT-RS over cheaper more capable performance cars?

What besides the badge would make you buy the car?

I am. It could be a hit. It could be a flop. But it's definitely on my short list for the next car.

Default I can think of a thousand reasons why! Especially now with a new 5!

But I can only come up with one why I wouldn't and that would be if the next generation went mid-engine 5. Now find that, in a Jap car..

Why are you so stuck on the Jap car thing? Where was that even mentioned in the post?

Default On my short list / Zerin Answer

Zerin - fair question. I guess i would pay more b/c I am in a climate where quattro / all wheel drive is a huge advantage which narrows the field. I like the idea of a small displacement engine with turbo vs large displacement normally aspirated (personal preference - i can totally understand why you are into the next gen mustang) i like audi styling and may be willing to pay a premium for it over say a wrx or evo at this stage in my life..but if the price over the TTS is more than 10g I doubt i would take it over the S

Cheers,
Brad

Default There's no right or wrong answer, I was just curious as to what the perspective buyer might be.

Your answers are certainly valid ones, and I can totally see where you are coming from.
