My 09 TT 2.0 Q is making some funny noises at idle - sounds like Chewbacca is under the hood...
After the car is warmed (driven for 15-20 minutes( up it starts to make the sound when the car is idling. (I have about 2,000 miles on the car.)
It doesn't seem to be impacting the normal functioning of the car although I thought I noticed a couple of rough downshifts the other night as I was approach stoplights.
Any ideas?

This guy had the same problem...

I've heard of power steering making groaning noises but that's when cold and not when warmed up. Could be cavitation from water pump?

That looks like a fun one to play "name those emblems."
C could be from a Chevrolet or maybe a Chrysler.
h could be from the same Olds as the b...maybe an eighty-eight
E & W from a Jeep...Wagoneer maybe?
The b looks like it's from an Oldsmobile.
The ACC looks like it's from a Honda accord.
The last A looks like it is from an Audi A4/A3/A6/A8
Probably way off. Would be neat to know though.
