Premium Audio Option
I can't seem to dig up the premium audio headset specs anywhere--does the upgraded stereo for $1k give you a 6-disc in dash player like the standard set or does it resort to a single disc player?

Re: Premium Package adds in-dash 6-disc. Audio Package adds Bose and Sirus.
Ok, thanks, so it's additive . . . interesting, Audi doesn't make these things very clear!
Basic: in-dash
$2k Premium Package (WPP): adds 6-disc
$1k Audio Premium Pkg: adds Bose & Sirius

Yeah, additive, but changes if you add the Nav+. With Nav+ you must spec it with iPod or 6-disc
So, you've already paid for the head-unit w/ 6-disc in the Premium package, but then that's tossed away when you add Navigation Plus. With Nav+, you get either a 6-disc or iPod in the glove box, and the Nav unit has a single disc that either holds the Nav DVD or you can insert an audio CD.

Re: Premium Audio Option
It's 2007 and Audi considers a 6CD changer to be a "premium package" feature on a 40k+ luxury car? For $1k? I've had an aftermarket 10CD changer "luxury premium" on my Miata 15 years ago for about $300. LOL!! Makes the TT seem like a stripped down nickel-and-dime budget car.
Amazing what customers put up with. And don't get me started with $2000 OEM navigation systems.
