Real world (sort of) 3.2 S-tronic gas mileage
OK, I'm still driving like a grandma because this thing is only 5 days old but I thought you would like some MPG figures. All runs were about 30 miles, roughly the same weather, 70-75'F no wind.
* 55 MPH two lanes - air on - 26.8 MPG
* 55 MPH two lanes - air off - wing up - 29.3 MPG
* 55 MPH two lane - windows open - wing up - 26.5 MPG
* 75 MPH freeway - air on - wing up - 26.0 MPG
* 75 MPH freeway - air on - wing down - 25.2 MPG
* My version of "city" avg 40 MPH stop and go - 23 MPG
While I expect this to mileage to drop after I allow myself to rev past 4000 rpm, I'm happy with the potential. Better than I was expecting. Better than my 2004 S4. About the same as my B5 S4 (which is kind of sad actually) with the same Grandma driving.

I am at 1200 miles. My version of "city" averages only 25 MPH and gets about 21 MPG. MPG at 70 MPH is consistent with your numbers.
I read somewhere the new EPA mileages are 15-20% lower than last year's estimates. So 18/24 MPG translates to 21/28 MPG, which is close to our "real-life" numbers.
