Default S-line package - Just eye candy?

or is there something there that will improve the driving experience? Also, is there anything unique about the seats in this package? I'll be ordering a 2.0 T Roadster soon for Europen Delivery in Sept.. I want to make sure it get it right!

Default Doesn't matter anyways as the S-line package is not available currently...

...You can't order it currently and all current orders that made it into the system have been put on hold. Yes it's "Just eye candy?"... but it's candy I want and desire.

S-line package PXQ
- 19" 7-double spoke wheels with 255/35 YR19 summer performance tires
- S line grille, bumpers, badging
- Black Fine nappa leather seats with "S line" embossing (and black stitching)
- Short-throw manual gearshift
- Leather multifunction steering wheel with S line logo (and paddles on S tronic)
- Black leather covered interior components
- S line entry door sills
- Headlight washers

You are correct - strictly a badge package with a few bits of trim thrown in.

Not quite... while I will agree that it is mostly eye candy, with the exception of the 19" performance tires for added grip, it is not a "badge package with a few bits of trim thrown in." It is specific front and rear bumpers, front and rear diffusers, seats, RS4 wheels, door sills, grille, and yes badges. This is certainly not an "S" model, but it's not just badges...

Default Disagree

We won't even get the 10mm lower springs. The body kit isn't that different from stock, you have to know what you are looking for. It should be much more aggressive looking. The seats are just a different color with colored stitching, which happen to be the best part of the package but not worth what Audi is asking for it.

Default Last we heard too was that stitching wasn't even colored...

which doesn't make any sense...although not sure if it was ever confirmed.

Default $2k for enh interior & 18" wheel upgrade or $3K for S-Line enh leather, 19" wheels + body kit...

which sounds like an OK deal to me.

I was going to order with my TT with the Enhanced interior package and 18" wheels anyway, so for about $1K more, I get an upgrade to the 19" wheels, S-Line body kits (which are very noticeable visual upgrade), badges, etc.

The revised font and rear are worth it to me as it makes the TT look even more aggressive. The contrasting diffuser is awesome on the front as is the revised one on the rear.

Ed Zachary! Couldn't have said it better myself...

You can disagree that it's a worth-the-cost option, but you cannot disagree that it is much more than a "badge package".

Default Re: Last we heard too was that stitching wasn't even colored...

It's supposed to be black instead of contrast stitiching, which is fine by me. My A3 Sport pkg has contrast stitching and I wouldn't say it makes my socks roll up and down - take it or leave it, really.

It's the body pieces in my opinion which are worth the cost. The car looks much mroe aggressive and finished (rear valence) than the standard TT. Although, I do think the standard is still very beautiful.
