First, we would like to thank those that did recon work for sites this year. All of your work is greatly appreciated. Specifically, TTBlack (Dave) and blackfnttruck (Bob) for their efforts. They both had great reviews and suggestions.....thanks all!

Considering the current economic climate, it was looking like we would not be able to do anything more than a GTG at a hotel somewhere near Greenville NC....while we like that area, it just did not seem appropriate for the event...

We then considered previous sites and locations to see if we could return to a favorite location. All were special in their own way, but only a few really stood out.

Next, we knew that we wanted to do an Autocross. It has been one of the favorite things for years, and it seemed to really stand out as the most important thing to have at TT-East.

With all of those things....we decided this year to do something that has never been done before...repeat the previous year...

For 2009, we will all be going back to Snowshoe WV. To a location that was really unique, with great drives all around and lots of scenery. Our theme this year will be TT-East 2008 part deux! Nothing could be more appropriate....For those that missed last year, now is your chance....

The dates will be July 30th through August 2.

Registration for the event will open May 10th for both hotel and the event. This year we are asking folks to pay in full when you register.

Here is some more good news. We have been working with the folks at the hotel, and we will be getting better pricing on all of our hotel rooms, and we now have an entry level price on the mountain that is below 100$/night!!!
We also have been able to really lean out the event, and preliminary registration fees look to be coming in about 15% cheaper than last year. More to come on that.....

Regardless, mark your calendars! TT-East is coming!
