Engine Diagram for '17 TT 2.0 TFSI 220HP ?
Is there an engine diagram for '17 TT 2.0 TFSI 220HP available anywhere?
I am curious as to the turbo plumbing.
In my past turbo cars, I am used to high pitched whine when the turbo kicks in, and fluttering sound from the waste gate when shifting
.
In the new TT, I don't hear any such thing.
So I'm wondering on how it functions.

Here's the self study program for the Audi 2.0L TFSI EA888 3rd Generation Engine: https://www.carworklog.com/stuff/SSP...eneration).pdf
Lots of good info inside that will answer your questions.
Video of a 2.0L TFSI Engine model. The turbo on the exhaust side of the engine is shown starting at the 0:58 mark.
Video of the 2.0L TFSI Engine that talks about its operation and features:

I have a TTS and don't hear the turbo much unless I'm really on it (I can hear more with the windows down). With the smaller turbo you may never really hear it. Also, you shouldn't be hearing much during shifts under load. The point of having a dual clutch transmission is that shifting happens "instantly" and the engine control doesn't really need to back off the throttle or wastegate the turbo. That's why I always laugh when people want turbo'ed cars with a manual transmission. Have fun losing your boost every time you shift...

Aftermarket turbo blow-offs are somewhat louder but also somewhat counterproductive to performance. The wastegate-recyle paired with the dual clutch is far more efficient, even if far less noticeable sound.
