It's fine to do the occasional redline at 1k, but I would highly recommend against launch control until after 2500. Its very hard on the car.

Many out there with hundreds of launches ..and many with much higher traction on drag radials on prepped track , some at double stock hp

...Iroz development car has thousands of launches still also on stock clutch packs ...

I've got about 1700 miles on mine and have yet to use launch control. I am sure I will at some point but I just had an oil change to flush the break-in oil out and sent off a sample to Blackstone Labs for analysis. Once that comes back (assuming a good report) I am sure I will give it a go. Regardless and even without the LC the car is plenty fun and plenty fast.
