Did they comment on how clear your haldex fluid was? I'm hearing from a few people that think a change every 3 years is just a money grap. I won't take my chances ... but it's good to know if I'm intentionally
throwing money away.

My engine is completely stock .
because Brice, the Service Manager there, said i definitely should get it done at 3 years. He said the Haldex fluid is like brake fluid and attracts water. Thus age is as important as mileage. I only had about 15k miles on the car at the time.

In a related story, my friend in Pennsylvania has a Nissan SUV for his wife. They only drive it about 5000 miles a year and only a few hundred in the past year due to COVID. They had a major engine failure last week and is now replacing the engine for $8000. Because of the low mileage, my friend decided to only change the oil at 10K and not annually. So it was 3 years since the oil was changed. The short distance driving plus the cold PA winters combined to completely sludge up the engine's oil system.

it's definitely part of the 3yr/30k maintenance plan. My haldex clutch fluid was changed & i also got new spark plugs.
