Default TTRS catless midpipe

I have installed an AWE catless midpipe. For my taste i would still yet like a bit more sound however it sounds so good now. When i add the Catless downpipe i think the sound will be perfect. I cant see swapping the midpipe back setup as the stock setup is more then able to handle the power i want at least for several years to come. Also the sound clips i have heard dont make me want to spend money on one. I like the stock Valve. I want to keep that function. I have seen the AWE switchpath setup. I like it but its a lot of money for not much gain.

Anyway the midpipe has done wonders for the already nice sounds of the car. I didnt see any 0-60 gain but dragy says i did improve the 1/4 mile time by .1. The .1 improvement could be any number of factors. I would think the midpipe alone is not enough to actually see a performance gain of any kind tho.

Next mod will be an APR Stage 1 e85 tune. I hope to have that within the next 3 weeks.

Hey Mike,

I'm picking up my TTRS this Fri in CT. I've been following your mods and will likely be doing similar things so thanks for the posts. I sent you a PM w my number also if you're interested in a new set of 20's with tires.

So I just had catless midpipes installed from ECS tuning. They were the cheapest on market but they are very nice. They are one of the few sets that come with new clamps. My mech commented on the nice TIG welds and the fancy clamps. Took 30min to install on a lift taking our time. $50 cash for the labor. Really makes sport mode sound exotic. Normal mode has very little sound/tone difference and is dead silent cruising. Absolutely zero drone and zero drawbacks for a bolt on mod. Highly recommended.
