H&R 28728-1 SPORT SPRINGS AUDI MK3 TT RS

thanks for the reply

These h& r springs are really confusing. Got someone of you running 28728-2 springs which are for 2wd cars, then others like yourself running 28728-1 which IS for 4wd

Thing is my tts has a bigger gap on the front arch than the rear ( like most cars) imo it looks like it could do with 25mm up front and 15mm at the rear.

Even the person on here with the funny grey colour you can see the rear is sitting lower than the front. Im really **** and that bothers me. You ttrs on the other hand sits perfect. Same arch gap front and rear which gives the look of the front sitting a tad lower so on power it would squat to make the car level if that makes sense.

30mm would be too low on the rear and the tires would tuck into the rear arches on my 20's. Hate that look.

So im stuck. Dont want to order the wrong ones.

Is your TTS a Mk 2? Mine had a rear rake a bit too. Not on the Mk 3 TTRS. Not sure what he weight difference is with the new alloy 5 cyl but I'd bet it is close to the TTS motor now?

Too much. Just did 10mm rear and 8mm front and it is just right......

H&R 28728-1 SPORT SPRINGS AUDI MK3 TT RS

Right. About to order my springs for the tts.
Just looked again.
H&R 28728-1 claim their for 4wd NOT TTS/TTRS -25MM

H&R 28728-2 Claim their for 2WD ONLY -25MM

H&R 28729-3 Claim they are for tts/ttrs -30MM

So it appears you ALL seem to have the WRONG springs on your cars.....

just because they fit does not make them right. Poundages would be different and effect ride.

I guess i will be going for -3 as its the only proper springs for the model
only worry is they are -30mm and im running 20" wheels so worried its going to be too low....

Guess im gonna find out.

How the H&R Springs feels vs the OEM one? I love the look of the H&R springs, I think it give the perfect height on the TTRS. My concern is the ride quality. On previous cars I had the suspension feel went to crap. The TTRS is almost a $80,000 car and I think it deserve at least a good set of coilovers (Bilstein or Ohlins for example) to match the performance and quality of the TTRS. Again, in the looks department the H&R Springs look AMAZING.

Next you need spacers, I found 12.5 mm give a flush mount look, and it looks wicked!
