Was driving around yesterday and had a sudden, loud squealing coming from what sounded like the front brake when I was moving. Very loud and metallic. Came to a stop with engine running, zero noise, so def not a belt/etc. As soon as I started moving again I could feel a bit of drag and the squeal was there. Came to a stop again, pumped the brake pedal and it went away. Is this a common issue on a TT RS? Taking her into Audi soon to get it checked out. 2019 TTRS.

If it stays silent, likely some debris between pad and rotor

I have a 2018 and have had this noise a couple times. Mine happened when i was backing out of my parting spot. It squealed for a few minute then just disappeared. It have not happened for a while now. I was definitely coming from the breaks.

Thanks for the feedback. Was this very loud or just a mild squeak? Mine happened that one time and didnt happen again yet, but was very loud and def from the brakes when it happened.

It was very loud. There were people outside and i was embarrassed because of how loud it was lol.

Sounds like mine, epic loudness lol. Did this happen just once or multiple times to you?

What does your rotor look like? Any scratch lines on them?
