Correct, the 2018 TTS is a 6 speed DSG.

Lets say he looks into it and comes up with a great answer AND a custom tune to go with it. I still will not want it because there are not other people out there who are running that exact tune for thousands of miles, etc, etc. I really appreciate your effort but I am not interested in a custom tune.

All I was doing with this thread was looking for someone with a 2018 TTS who has a tune.

I don't think we have any options, and with the very limited number of TTS sold in 2018, I'm not sure that we ever will.

curious to know which rev your ECU is since as i mentioned in the AZ thread, i have a 2018 and running JB4 on it. Had some initial issues at the beginning getting the bluetooth module to display the gauges properly but eventually worked itself out and has been fine since.

I believe it's a rev 3 ECU, so far no one has any tunes for it.

Two of us have tried a JB1/4 to no avail and at least one of us has had an issue with unitronic. Both Burger and Unitronic said OF COURSE they made a tune for our cars and there were plenty of people on other forums with a MK7 R or an S3 who had either tune but guess what - when we try to install them we have issues.

My hunch is that the change is minimal as VAG posts the identical numbers for those cars as they do for the 2017s.

I'm really looking for someone with a 2018 TTS who successfully purchased and applied a tune without issue. I appreciate the help from others who have cars of a different model year but if someone with a 2018 could give any sort of testimonial (positive or negative) it would be appreciated.
Does this apply to the 2017 TT? I've been trying to do some research online but no luck... I wanted to do a simple removal of the muffler...

Not sure if I want a res delete. I hear that it will make the car louder but as a droning whine. Looking for more of a deeper growl. Of course it also depends on the type of car and that affects whether a res delete or muffler delete will make it sound better. Has anyone tried either on their MK3 TT?

Check out Steven Lee's videos .. he did both resonator delete and muffler delete. I iniitally did resonator delete and theres no drone but also didnt make too much of a difference. I recently installed a Magnaflow catback which gives it a deeper growl but also does drone a bit depending on the throttle position.
